At TAL Group we believe sustainability is a core part of how we operate and grow responsibly. We are committed to maintaining Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across our business to create long-term value for our people, communities, and the planet.

Environmental impact

Our environmental efforts focus on reducing our carbon footprint through energy and water conservation, minimizing waste, adopting responsible sourcing, and exploring renewable energy options. We have adopted environmental management industry best practices to minimize the impact of our activities on the environment, ensuring our actions are both effective and accountable.

Social impact

On the social front, we believe our people are our greatest strength. We strive to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering workplace while actively supporting local communities. This includes promoting health and wellbeing, championing diversity, investing in employee development, and respecting human rights throughout our operations.

Governance & Ethics

Strong governance is the foundation of our sustainability journey. We uphold the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and transparency, backed by clear policies, risk management, and open stakeholder communication.
Guided by global frameworks like the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we are taking meaningful steps today to build a more sustainable tomorrow — making decisions that matter, and always keeping people and the planet at the heart of what we do.

ESG Projects at a Glance

On March 30, 2024 we visited Kizurini Special School in Kilifi County to donate food and sanitary items for the girls. We spent quality time with the children and participated in fun activities as part of our company's CSR program. It was a rewarding experience, and we look forward to participating in and visiting more schools as part of giving back to the community.

Bridging Classroom Learning with Industry Practice for Ukunda Vocational Training Centre Students

On 12 August 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting students from the Maritime Transport and Logistics program at Ukunda Vocational Training Centre for an educational field exposure visit. During the session, The trainees explored key operational areas from cargo handling, storage and release gaining firsthand insight into industry practices. This practical exposure complemented their classroom learning, helping them acquire skills and a deeper appreciation of real-world operations. We are proud to play a role in shaping the next generation of professionals and remain committed to creating more impactful learning opportunities in the future.
